My husband, Clay, and I have been married for 40 years. In 1991, we purchased a piece of land in New Boston with a dream of building a home together. After attending an intensive two-week course in traditional timber framing and joinery, Clay handcrafted our home one timber at a time—a true labor of love. The timbers were cut from trees grown and milled in Alstead, New Hampshire, making our home not only a reflection of our commitment to one another, but also of our deep appreciation for New Hampshire's craftsmanship, natural beauty, and enduring traditions.

In July 2000, Clay and I were blessed with the birth of our daughter, Sophia. Becoming her mother has been the greatest joy of my life. I was fortunate to spend her infancy and preschool years as a stay-at-home mom, cherishing those precious early days together.

As Sophia grew, I spent countless hours volunteering at New Boston Central School. When I returned to the workforce, I did so with complete confidence that our small public elementary school was a safe, nurturing place where she could learn, grow, and thrive.That experience shaped my belief in the importance of strong public schools and the opportunities they provide for every child. I believe we all have a responsibility to give back to the communities that invest in us. That is why I have become an advocate for fair school funding—to help ensure that New Hampshire's public schools remain strong for future generations of children and families.

I spent my career as a freelance court reporter, where listening carefully was at the heart of my work. Every case taught me that there are always two sides to a story. While each perspective deserves to be heard, facts matter, and not every claim is equally supported by the evidence.

That same commitment to listening—and to weighing evidence honestly—is what I would bring to the State House. Today, New Hampshire faces growing challenges as extremist voices and the Free State movement continue to exert significant influence over legislation in Concord. The result has been attacks on women's healthcare, setbacks for clean energy and efforts to address climate change, and the expansion of an unaccountable school voucher program that diverts public dollars from our public schools to private education.

New Boston is special because of its people. I've been fortunate to meet fellow parents, educators, retirees, and neighbors from every walk of life. Some have spent decades here; others have recently chosen New Boston as the place to call home. Together, you've built a community worth protecting. My promise is simple: I'll listen.
