PETE RYDER
Former Engineering Executive & Small Business Owner
“I will bring common-sense budgeting, fiscal responsibility, and honest leadership back to Concord.”
I'm Pete Ryder and I am asking for your support for State Representative.
NH is rapidly becoming unaffordable. I say this as a taxpayer, but also as a son, father and grandfather of District 42 residents. We are all living with the trade that’s been made in Concord over the past couple decades, reduction in taxes on wealthy out-of-state corporations while handing the bill to property taxpayers.
Public Education is the cornerstone that our democracy is built on. All children get the opportunity to make the most of their gifts. All children learn how to contribute to society. The State of NH has a constitutional obligation to fund an adequate education and yet continues to dodge this. My number one priority is to rebalance the books so that the state fulfills its duty.
As a small business owner, I know that state policy matters a lot. Good schools and reasonable tax burdens on both business and employee are essential for businesses to thrive. Policy that makes NH affordable and desirable for young families is the objective I will work for.
I will engage in a bi-partisan way to achieve the best outcome for you, the voters of District 42. No other agendas!
I've lived in New Boston for 40 years and was raised in Mont Vernon. I attended public schools in Mont Vernon, Milford and the University of NH. My wife Kathy Conk Ryder and I continue to grow together in New Boston as we have for the past 32 years.
Regards, Pete Ryder, Candidate for State Representative, Hillsborough District #42
