GSOP Vigil
The Granite State Organizing Project (GSOP) is an ecumenical group supported by multiple churches in the Greater Manchester area.
The group holds a vigil and meeting the second Tuesday of every month. The vigil supports the immigrant community. The vigil starts with prayer and song and then walks around the Norris Cotton Federal Building in Manchester where the federal immigration administration is housed.
Feel free to join the vigil (9-10AM) if you are interested in expressing peaceful support of the immigrants in our community.
A peaceful candlelight Vigil was held on January 9th for Renee Good, in Concord. Renee Good was the women shot by an ICE officer on January 7th in Minneapolis. She was an American citizen with a family.
In spite of the rain, 100s of people attended, according to one of the attendees.
